KSL Tram Tower Hike

While my wife was out for a run this morning I came across a blog post about the old KSL tram towers that took technicians up to Farnsworth peak up until the mid 80's and decided it would be cool to go check them out. So when my wife got back from her run I took off and hiked up to tower 3.

I parked further away than I really needed to but it made it 1.7 miles from the Jeep to the tram tower ( 3.4 miles total). max elevation was 5704ft starting at 4384ft - 1320 ft of elevation gain. Great hike, great views and got a little bit of running in at the end as I ran almost 75% of the way back to the jeep.. Enough text here are the pics you want :)

Visiting the Hill Air Force base Museum

So the Family loaded up in the car and headed north to visit with my brother for a few minutes and then check out the Air Museum at Hill Air Force Base. Basically just wandered around and said.. yep.. those are airplanes and I don't know crap about them, but the girls enjoyed themselves

Afterwords we found a Baskin Robbins, had Ice cream and drove home.. Good way to start spring.

A short hike with my Monkeys

I decided to take the girls on a short hike today so we headed up Settlement Canyon along the first part of the Dark Trail Loop and stopped at the playground to play for a little while. Then down the road and back home. Just a quick jaunt to help get the girls excited to do some more hiking this spring and summer. 1.5 miles total with all of the little side tracks we took. It was a good time.
